Sagacious Ramblings

 है जिंदगी तू मुझे बता, यह कैसी दुविधा में तूने मुझे है डाला राह में चुनूं तो कौन सा, एक तरफ है खाई तो दूसरी तरफ हैं कुआ। कुछ कर भी नही सकता, ना कुछ किए बिना बैठा जाता खुद को संभालूं या किसी का सहारा बनूं है जिंदगी अब तू ही बता किस राह पे मैं चलूं। अनजाने भी प्यारे लगते है  और वो जान के भी अनजान बने फिरते है करे तो हम क्या जब सांस लेने के लिए संघर्ष करते है चंद लम्हे और है इस जीवन मैं, अब तू ही बता लाचार और बेबस तो हम पहले भी थे अब तो उम्मीद ने भी मुंह फेर लिया भटकते हुए मुसाफिर है हम हवा की रुख पे चल देंगे कुछ और कदम आवाज़ बहरों को सुनाई नही देता ना अंधों को कुछ दिखाई देता यह भूत है लातों के, इन्हे प्यार से कुछ नही समझता है जिंदगी अब तू ही बता। चंद सिक्कों की लालच, कुछ और देर सत्ता का नशा बेच दिया कौड़ियों में, इंसानों ने ही इंसानों को है जिंदगी अब कुछ ना बता।

Burning bodies and death all around  Gasping for air, cursing our fate  What brings these times, haven't we been here before? Death circles, is it my time next? Frustrated but not defeated I walk this path, Looking behind as if in hope, for a familiar face. A smile or a known figure, I look for on this empty path. Where none exists and hope has died, this is the end that none foretold. Differences we all have, but unity we never did. Races, religion, colour and sex, we divided in all  But when the time came, the enemies became life savers, the trusted feel apart  As we struggle to breath, make every one count, All of this strife and this hatred, what did it serve but to divide. We fight alone, we shall perish, we fight together, that's a dream unrealistic. The divisions are deep and entrenched. Trust comes at a cost none ready to bear.  जिंदगी की दौड़ में लंगड़ाते हुए हम चल रहे है जब जीना हो गया है मुश्किल हर सांस की लगती है बोली बंद कमरों में जी रहे है हम। एक दूसरे से करते है नफरत अंध विश्वास की गलियों में ठोकर खाते  भटके हुए और तन्हा मुसाफिर बने हम ना ठिकाना कोई ना मंजिल है फिर भी लड़ते है हम कुछ बातें कुछ यादें सब भूल के बस जिंदा है हम और कितने दिन जिंदा लाश बनेंगे हम जागो, लड़ो, कुछ कर भी दो जिनको आपने चुना वो नपुंक्सक निकले वोट की दौड़ में इंसानियत भूल गए जाती धर्म भेद भाव से जिंदगी नहीं चलती है दोस्त सहारा बनो, तो जाने। यह खेल नही हकीकत है दोस्तों, लड़े तो हम किसलिए, चंद सांसों में ही सिमट गए हम कच्चे मिट्टी का है यह शरीर इसको क्या मालूम, रूह की बात मानो तो माने हम जल गए ढेरों में मर गए लाखों में लड़े तो हम किस लिए, कुछ सांसों के लिए। भूल जाओ इन भेद भावों को, इंसान हो, पहचानो इंसानों को, जब मौत की आती है दस्तक, ना रहता है वो धर्म, ना रहती है वो जाती, बस रहती है तो चार, जो कंधे पे लेके चलते आखरी बार जागो, जानो और सीखो, ना करो किसी से  बेर ना रखो कोई भेद, चंद सांसों के हो मेहमान, जियो और जीने दो।

A will of fire and nerves of steel Never to bow down, never to give in Many a mountains climbed, many a oceans crossed The banners of the mighty eagle soared high with pride But not forgotten are those hardships when looked back The nights of tears and broken hearts So close they came, yet slipped through, The glory that was, but never to be. Crushed but not broken, the men rose again Conquering again, what was laid in front.
